Dr Peter Bennett
Peter graduated from Monash University in 2007. Since then he has worked in metropolitan Melbourne and rural Gippsland. As a junior doctor he worked in surgical specialities before undertaking further training in General Practice. He loves general practice and his special interests are weight loss medicine, skin cancer checks and excisions, men’s health, travel medicine and paediatrics.
Dr Mansi Patel
Mansi moved to Melbourne from New Zealand in early 2007. She obtained her medical degree from Otago University, New Zealand in 2006. She has worked in both Melbourne and rural Victorian hospitals since moving here. She enjoys all areas of general practice. Her special interests include preventative medicine, mental health, family planning and skin checks (dermoscopy). She is trained to perform implanon insertions and removals.
Dr Christine To
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip Child Health
Christine grew up in Melbourne and obtained her medical degree from the Australia National University in 2013. She has spent time in both Canberra and Victoria training in metropolitan and rural hospitals and clinics. She also completed a Diploma in Child health in 2015. Christine enjoys all area of general practice and her special interests include Children's and Women's health. She is trained to perform implanon insertion and removal. She is able to converse in Cantonese.
Dr Vyom Sharma
Vyom graduated from Monash University in 2008. Early in his career, he gained experience as a junior doctor working in rural and regional areas around the country. He is experienced in the full spectrum of general practice including paediatrics, cancer screening and travel medicine. He offers skin cancer checks and biopsies, and is currently completing his Diploma in Dermatology. He also has a special interest in men’s health, and offers treatment for hair loss, sexual dysfunction, weight loss and cardiovascular health. Vyom can also communicate in Hindi.
Dr Seetha Sapre
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip Child Health (The Children’s Hospital, Westmead)
Seetha grew up in Melbourne and later obtained her medical degree from Monash University, graduating in 2008. She has worked in both Melbourne and rural Victorian hospitals, as well as in other parts of Australia including Darwin and Toowoomba, Queensland. She completed her GP training in Melbourne and is passionate about all areas of general practice. She holds a Diploma in Child Health from The Children’s Hospital in Westmead. Her special interests include nutrition medicine, preventative health, family planning, paediatrics and mental health. Seetha is also trained to perform Implanon insertions and removals.
Dr Filip Vukasin
Filip graduated from Monash University in 2008 and prior to completing his GP training in Melbourne he has worked across various hospital networks in Melbourne and rural Victoria. He gained further experience by volunteering overseas. His special interests in general practice include Sexual and Reproductive Health, Travel Medicine, Mental Health, Chronic disease management and Paediatrics. He is trained to perform IUD (MIRENA and Copper IUD) insertions and removals as well as implanon insertions and removals. Filip is also able to converse in Serbian and Spanish.
Dr Georgia Downing
MBBS, Dip Child Health
Georgia completed her medical degree at Monash University in 2012. Since graduating, she has worked at a number of hospitals throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria, as well as working in the Northern Territory. She recently completed a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney. Georgia is enthusiastic about family medicine, and enjoys working together with patients to optimise their health through a holistic, patient-centred approach. She has an interest in preventative medicine, chronic disease management and mental health. Having grown up in rural Victoria, Georgia is currently enjoying living in Melbourne and all that it has to offer. Outside of work she enjoys keeping active, reading and exploring new destinations both locally and abroad.
Dr Lucy Dang
Lucy graduated from Monash University in 2012. As a junior doctor following graduation, she has worked at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Western Hospital and many emergency departments throughout Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and Queensland. She is passionate about all areas of general practice and her special interests include pregnancy and antenatal care, acupuncture for joint pain, skin cancer checks and minor skin procedures. Lucy has completed training in Medical Acupuncture with the Australian Medical Acupuncture College. Lucy is also trained to perform implanon insertion and removal. She is able to converse in Mandarin.
Clinical Psychologist, MPsych (clinical)
Melissa is a warm and dedicated clinical psychologist who uses shared insight and practical strategies to help you reach your goals. She provides a non-judgmental, respectful space in which to explore difficult emotions and create meaningful change. She is qualified to assist with a range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, stress, family and relationship difficulties, trauma, self-esteem, and grief/loss. Each session is adapted to your preferences, values and strengths. Melissa draws upon a range of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal psychotherapy, schema therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. She has worked with individuals of all ages within private practice, education, forensic and community settings in Melbourne.
Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), BSc Nut, Mdiet
Megan is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who is passionate about health, nutrition and helping people achieve the healthiest version of themselves. Megan has completed a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc Nut) at Victoria University and a Masters of Dietetics (Mdiet) at Deakin University. She believes in an individualised approach and works one-on-one with each client to help them achieve their health goals. She has a special interest in; non-judgemental approach to weight management, irritable bowel syndrome (including low FODMAP diet), improving gut health, chronic disease prevention and management as well as women’s health nutrition.
